It’s amazing to watch the pros railing corners with confidence. Here, Matt Walker shares one of his tips for keeping his bike tracking through a berm.

“Weighting the outside peg is what all the pros do, because it allows you to carry a lot more speed without going over a berm. It’s how you carry speed and lay it down in the corner without it slipping up on you.

“When you’re entering a corner, like the left-hander that I was doing, you shift all your weight to your right leg. I put my left foot out, and drop my left shoulder a little and pick my right elbow up. All my weight’s on my right side. That allows me to lay the bike over a little bit to the left without it trying to stand up in the corner.”
