Toronto Practice Session 2: Reed and Stewart All Tied Up

The second and final practice sessions have wrapped up at the Toronto SX, and James Stewart bested the Supercross class field. JGR Racing’s Josh Grant clocked the second-fastest time, while defending champion Chad Reed was third. Almost unbelievably, though, Stewart’s 51.170-second fast lap was identical to the fastest lap time set in practice number one by Reed. We have yet to see how the AMA determines who is awarded the pole position.

Austin Stroupe served notice that he doesn’t plan to let his teammate Christophe Pourcel wrap up the championship easily tonight, setting the fastest time in session two and earning the pole for tonight’s race. Muscle Milk KTM rider Wil Hahn was second fastest, while Pourcel rounded out the top three.
