Red Bull Honda’s Ashley Fiolek departed LAX this morning, bound for Portugal, to compete in round two of teh FIM Women’s World Championship Series. The defending WMA Women’s National Champion, Fiolek hopes to improve on her third-place showing at round one in Bulgaria. “I felt great at round one and I had the speed to win, but I had some troubles on the track and didn’t perform to my full potential,” said Fiolek. “I am confident going into Portugal, and I can’t wait to race!”
A member of the Red Bull Honda factory team in the United States, Fiolek competes abroad with help from LS Motorsports, a team based in Belgium.
