DMXS Tonight

Rockstar Makita Suzuki Factory Racing’s Ryan Dungey waited an entire year for redemption and executed an impressive season on his way to the 2009 Supercross Lites West Coast Championship. Ryan will take a break from outdoor testing to check in with us this evening. You can also go to www.RyanDungey.com <http://www.ryandungey.com/>  for updates and news on the rising star.

There are many talented folks working behind the scenes of the 2009 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship as the Glen Helen opener quickly approaches. Fans have waited many years for our sport’s truest form of racing to garner the support and respect it deserves. Davey Coombs is one of those folks involved to ensure the success and growth of our beloved motocross series. DC will be on to give us a wrap-up of everything from the televison package to what we may expect in the future. Check out www.MXSportsProRacing.com <http://www.mxsportsproracing.com/>  for more information.

2008 FIM World Champion Tyla Rattray will contest the AMA Motocross Lites season on one of Mitch Payton’s fire-breathing Pro-Circuit machines. The likeable South African already has an established record, but he will have all he can handle with one of the deepest fields in recent memory. We are honored to have the MX2 champ on with us for the first time. He is already trying to get on Weigandt’s good side by rocking some Bon Jovi on his website www.stylamx.com <http://www.stylamx.com>

Factory Red Bull Honda’s Andrew Short has quietly put together another great season. It seems when the headlines are about other riders. Andrew is all about the business of doing his job well. His hard work and consistency will certainly put him among the top contenders for an outdoor title and we will ask him about that and more tonight.

If you have not heard of Geico Powersports Honda’s Justin Barcia you soon will in a big way. This former amateur sensation is making his professional debut at Glen Helen and the buzz at the test track is that he is the guy to beat. We have tried to compare his riding style to others over the many years that we have covered him, but none truly fit. I know it seems excessive to always say how stacked the Lites class is, but don’t forget to add this speedster to the mix or he’ll be there to remind you.

Miss California keeping her crown was big news on the left coast, but that paled in comparison to the announcement that David Bailey is back in the freaking booth! Are you kidding me? This is huge! I want to thank the powers that be for overlooking the seminude and questionable pictures of the ICON floating around the internet. You know how much we love this guy and can’t wait to catch up with our good friend.
