Product: Power Grafx Gripz material

Price: $303.90 (as tested), $199 for standard graphics, $24 additional for Gripz material
Key Features:
-US Patented Gripz material for increased friction with the bike.
-3M adhesive backing.
What We Liked:
-Gripz material is actually function and has a noticeable affect with gripping the bike with your legs (for comparison, Gripz is almost identical to the grip material on the blue part of stock Yamaha seats).
-Gripz is not too abrasive where it destroys pants and knee areas, although it does wear on gear a little more.
-Gripz is on every section of graphics that your body might touch (shrouds, airbox cover, and side panel).
-Thick vinyl and strong adhesive keep graphics in place, even over an extended period.
What We Didn’t Like:
-Gripz coating wore away on shrouds faster than expected (although only on the high wear area from knee brace rub when sticking legs out for corners).

-A little pricey if you go with the customized graphics plus Gripz.
What We Really Think:
The idea of using a high friction material to increase bike control is not a new concept, but the Power Grafx Gripz material is. In the month or so that we have been using the graphics, they have held up very well other than normal wear you might find on other well made kits. As a functional graphics kit, the new PG graphics might offer that little extra bit of control you have been looking for.
