Hey, the target audience for this movie is same as The High School Musical movie and if I'm correct none of you watched that one either (if you did, shame on you). Anyways, this movie isn't made for motocross riders, so stop crying about it. This type of overly soft and lame movie is just what young (non-motocrosser) kids want.
Thing is that if this movie brings any new people to the sport (riders, spectators, sponsors…), it is a good for all of us. After all every pro rider seems to hope that we could be a mainstream sport like football or Nascar.

My family and I had the pleasure of meeting Corbin and his father at the San Francisco SX this year. With his success from High School Musical it was very nice how humble and approachable he was by my kids. I ride along with my two boys so we are critical of anything that involves this great sport. However, I don't really think you can judge this film off a short trailer. Additionally, after watching it this is targeted towards young kids or the "High School Musical" crowd. It does not look like it was intended to be seen by hardcore MX guys. With that said I feel like Corbin is being "flashed the wheel" when he actually is bringing attention to MX. He if a few more guys go out and buy their kids bikes after seeing Corbin in this move then its fine by me.
I just hate to see all the negative comments when 1) none of us have seen the film and 2) clearly this is a film geared towards young kids. The only information I have to go off is meeting him in person at the race and this short trailer. Who cares about the music or the other things that are not 100% accurate. I also saw the interview on NBC from Budds Creek and thats cool that he went out there to watch his friend Cole Seely race and now is a rider and fan himself. Just my 2 cents

Come on Guys. Stop Hatin. I am with a couple other people on here. Sure, to us hardcore motocross racers, this movie may be absolutely gay. BUT, this movie is not geared to make you happy, it's for young kids. Sure that may not be really how you get to the pro's. WHO CARES?!?!?!?! It will get Kids interested in the sport and hopefully they'll bug their parents, their parents get them a bike, then the parents get a bike for themselves, then they go racing and bring money to the sport. We're in desperate need of more cash inflow in our sport right now so something that could possibly bring that to it. And you guys hate on it? Geez, grow up people. On another note… Which of you wants to sit through a 8 hour film about a 16 year old kid whos been racing his whole life and watch him go to 8 Lorretta Lynn Area Qualifying races, then 3 Regional Races, then Loretta Lynns…….. You think the general population that knows NOTHING about motocross or could care less for that matter would really want to go and watch that????? No, maybe us hardcore people would love it…. but that's not gonna sale bikes to families. Actually it'd push them away because all they would see would be the MONEY being pumped outa the wallet and they wouldn't even want to begin the sport in the first place.

You know, after basically reading all the comments leading up to this point, i do have to agree that through the eyes of a real rider that yes this video has the potential to be a total fail. But, step out of our realm for just one second. Say that you dont ride, but you know of the sport, and you might have an interest or are just dragged along to go see the movie, if it does indeed hit theaters. From an outsiders view, i do think it does somewhat have the potential to be a good movie. I remember reading the article on the US open, and how JS7 basically stated while on podium that there needs to be more people out in the crowd. The sport is still growing, and any effort to get any outside influence to gain some exposure to the sport should be considered. So what if we as riders dont like it, but think about the parents that are totally against the sport because of either the dangers it entails or the 'lifestyle' it portrays, and their younger children are exposed to the movie and actually like it. It may possibly change the way people see our sport, and ultimately open new doors.

I'd have to agree, this movie Will be bad, but we as real racers aren't the target audience. Everyone wants more exposure for the sport, well here it is. Good or bad the movie is gonna get our sport out there. It is gonna suck pretty bad though and the Jonas Brothers…oh well someday we'll get a semi-realistic mx movie
