The afternoon practice sessions for all three classes have concluded at the Red Bull Motocross of Nations at Franciacorta, Italy. Ryan Dungey ended the 40-minute MX1 free-practice session third fastest, while Jake Weimer clocked the fifth-fastest time in the MX2 division. Ivan Tedesco was sixth-fastest in the Open class.
If the finishing order of the MXoN were determined on lap times alone, Italy would top the charts, ahead of France, Great Britain, and the United States. Thankfully, that’s not the case. Qualifying heats for all three classes start at 2:30 local time. On the following pages, you will find practice times and photo galleries. Be sure to tune in later tonight for full reports on this afternoon’s qualifiers.

I must say that i am very impressed by the Swedish riders. I did certainly not expect any of them to get within the top 10 even in the practice-sessions. Looking forward to the main-events.

Hells yeah, go Sweden. This is a huge step from being completely out of the picture for the last few years.
As for the top teams, I believe Italy has this, thus Italy will not win because my predictions always fail.
