No Fear has teamed up with Jason Lawrence for the upcoming 2010 competition season. No Fear is confident that Jason has changed for the better and upon his return to the track, will be focused on racing and becoming a positive role model for aspiring athletes.

“I can’t begin to explain how much this means to me,” said Lawrence. “No Fear believing in me has given me the ability to believe in myself.”

No Fear and Lawrence enjoyed a long-standing relationship through Lawrence’s highly successful amateur career. Teaming up for multiple amateur MX national titles, Lawrence helped elevate the No Fear brand amongst the dirt-covered teens that frequent Motocross tracks across the country.

“We stand behind Jason and believe that he deserves a second chance,” said company founder Mark Simo. “His natural ability is undeniable and his reform is steadfast. He will be an asset to our 2010 team.

It takes what it takes! I also believe everybody deserves a second chance. I wish jason the best for 2010! Be nice to see him turn it around.

  • Ricky Says:

its funny, been a fan of his riding for a while, but everytime he seems to ride he does something crazy, like blasting over the startgate etc, if he can get back to basics and avoid the media circus, then i hope he can just ride and stay out of trouble on the track,

  • DJ 868 Says:

I would love to see Jason just ride. No other BS just go out there and get with the program. Maybe he'll surprise us.

  • CJ65 Says:

Thank you Jeff… so many people keep calling this a second chance, when in reality its like his 5th or 6th. Its really getting old. No Fear gear sucks anyway, so now I guess I really wont be buying any. Isnt that what sponsorship is all about?

  • KEITH WILLIAMS Says:

J-LAW WILL BE A FACTOR IN RACING AND WILL SELL TONS OF ADVERTISING…

  • middle man Says:

i heard he was getting out like 9 days before SX starts..? maybe, but most likely he will get out a little sooner.
hope he's not rusty, i'm looking foward to a good race!

  • Big Hoop Says:

Wow…good riders (who are not in jail) are looking for contracts and this guy get one??? If he has the talent (which he does) then he will get another chance to ride…but while he is still in jail?? I would have waited to sign/annouce this until he was out of jail and riding again.

  • CJ65 Says:

let him ride the east, i guess ill finally have a reason to cheer for pourcel.

  • CJ65 Says:

or lose it, but you know…whatever

  • Dirtydane Says:

  • geust Says:

K, I havent been living under a rock or nothin, but just to clarify, he DIDNT actually go to jail right? He was just jailed from racing?

  • drj779 Says:

no he's in a minmum security prison right now as i type this.

  • Drop874 Says:

CJ don't knock other people's good fortunes (congrats j-bird), or a reputable company in our industry (no fear). we all know your mom is going to buy you the new fox gear for x-mas anyways, who are you trying to kid…haha

  • mike Says:

j-law is a great kid i would love to see him get some slack from the haters he is young and thats what kids do i fell he will make a great role model now-i also love his riding style

  • DD34 Says:

I love to listen to the jelous people that hate on J-law. I wish i could go old school and party like a rockstar and still kick a$$

  • Mike Hawk Says:

J-Law set one record by winning a championship on probation i think he just set another one by signing a sponsorship deal while in jail

  • Blow Fear Says:

Ridiculous. So now you have to be an asshat criminal to get a good deal? No Fear, we used to love your gear. Wont be rockin it anymore. Those of us bringing kids up racing have a hard enough time keeping them away from all the bad stuff in the world. Now a player in the Industry shows our kids that you can be a piece of crap and still get paid. Thanks guys.

  • Souper Kross Says:

this is good for me, i wear no fear hahaha

  • YZ4LYFE Says:

this makes the sport look terrible, just backs up its stereotype

  • billy Says:

why would you not wear the gear. this just shows that even wen you f+ck up you can still have a future. j-law is what the sport need, we need more people who will speak there mind and do as they please. im not the only one who is tired of dungey and villopotos speeches. they say the same thing week in, week out. they are just boring. j-law always has something good come out of his mouth.

  • Pete Says:

    GO J LAW!

Young kid who's made a few f*#k up's in his younger years…shouldnt have to pay for it for the rest of his life. Hope he comes out and kicks everyone's butt thats put him down over the years..Go J Law you good thing!!!

  • jlaws back! Says:

its funny how everyone STILL judges this guy because of his personal actions.. im sure a lot of the guys sayin this bad stuff about him have done some wack stuff as well.. look at him for his riding hes bad ass.. awesome style fast and umm last i rememberd the kid has a championship under his belt! .. jlaw is the man cant wait to see him ride again.

  • rcw Says:

J-Law is the man glad to see hes comming back and all you guys wining about him wearing no fear are really startin to sound like dungey

  • twitchola Says:

Once he gets int the saddle , he'll quickly forget the drama.

  • farmdog131 Says:
