DC CELEBRATES NEW TRAINING FACILITY WITH RIDE DAY AND CHARITY POKER TOURNAMENT
On Wednesday, December 9th DC launched its motocross training facility, the DC MotoTF, with an exclusive ride day at the Pala Raceway. Moto team riders Jeremy McGrath, Ricky Carmichael, Nate Adams, Robbie Maddison, Jolene Van Vugt, Josh Hill, Davi Milsaps, Adam Cianciarulo, Zach Bell, Chase Bell, Ian Trettel, Tommy Searle and the DNA Stix/ Star Racing/ Yamaha Team Nico Izzi, Broc Tickle, Martin Davalos, and Max Anstie came out to celebrate and ride the track. Over 100 retailers, media and industry VIP’s checked out the new training facility and watched with the team in action. Guests also had a chance to ride brand new Yamaha bikes, including the 2010 YZ450F, as part of the DC and Yamaha marketing partnership.
The day concluded with a charity invitational poker tournament hosted by DC at the Pala Casino Spa Resort to benefit the Road 2 Recovery Foundation. This non-profit organization, founded by action sports agent and former motocross rider, Jimmy Button, is dedicated to helping injured motocross and supercross athletes. Fifty people including Jimmy and DC motocross athletes Jeremy McGrath, Robbie Maddison, Jolene Van Vugt, Davi Milsaps, and Tommy Searle played in the tournament. Professional poker players Tiffany Michelle and Maria Ho from this season’s “Amazing Race” also joined in, along with the show’s recent winners, Cheyne Whitney and Meghan Rickey.
When all the cards were on the table it was Allen Cianciarulo who won. Rounding out the top three were Charles Ellis and Markus Paulsen. DC donated $ 2,500 to Road 2 Recovery on behalf on Allen and in total almost $ 4,700 was raised.

Yo, you guys need to check out jaisaacsloan.com He too smoked "the next G.O.A.T." at Ponca this year too. I know that I'am somewhat biased in my opinion of him cause he's my little homie.BUTT! Jaisaac still beat him. I guess I'am just bent that kids like Cianciarulo get tons of industry sopport. When kids like Jaisaac get mostly overlooked. It's cool though, his speed speaks for itself. Let it be said on TWMX first. You will come to know the name Jaisaac Sloan in the future of motocross!!!

Azracer,I agree with you. There are several great riders out there that can not get the support because of finances.Until the past year all I ever saw was Adam this Adam that. This year at the Mini's Adam got spanked.Little Cooper Webb was on his game.Adam is home schooled and gets to ride several hours everyday.Cooper is still in public school and can only ride after school for an hour or so.Not every rider is going to be like Ricky or Buba.Whats going to happen to the riders going to home school that don"t know anything but riding?I'm a track owner and a parent of a rider.I got involved in MX to use it as leverage to keep my son in school and to keep his grades up.Now they are promoting home school at Loretta's.What about the school boy class? The sport has changed over the years and not for the better of the kids.I hope Cooper is able to stay in school and still do good in his racing.Chuck,Crystalcoastmx
