Qualifying practices are all finished up and as we head in to the evening and the heat races, things changed up a little. On the final lap of qualifying, Ryan Dungey was able to pop off the top time of the second qualifer with a 1:03.34. But Chad Reed’s 1:02.8 still tops all of the times and he will take the pole ahead of Dungey and Ryan Villopoto who was just hundreths of a second back. In the Lites class, Christophe Pourcel has the fastest overall qualifying of either class, with a 102.24 followed about another second back by his teammate Dean Wilson, with Nico Izzi finally getting his name up there with the third quickest time. Worth noting is Ryan Morais’ return to racing, but this time it is aboard a Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki RM-Z450.
