2010 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship to Reach Nearly 450 Million Homes Worldwide
80 Countries To Receive the Sport’s Most Prestigious MX Championship
MORGANTOWN, W.V. (May 17, 2010) – With a premier domestic television package leading the way, MX Sports Pro Racing and Alli, the Alliance of Action Sports, announce an unprecedented international television package for the 2010 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship. This year, the world’s most competitive and prestigious motocross championship series will be shown in nearly 450 million homes across 80 countries on four continents.
In addition to full live HD coverage on NBC Sports and SPEED in the United States, AMA Motocross extends its coverage of the 12-event circuit with both live HD international telecasts and its extensive and timely international highlights series featuring both 250 and 450 Class racing. American Forces Network (AFN) will also carry the live telecasts.
Headlining the international package is the first-ever LIVE television coverage of motocross in High Definition. The 2010 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship LIVE telecast partners include ESPN Brazil, FOX Sports/FUEL TV in Australia and RUSH TV, broadcast to millions of viewers in 52 countries. AMA fans across the globe can follow Chad Reed, Ryan Dungey, Andrew Short and the other stars of the 450 Class as they battle it out in all 12 rounds of the championship series.
