Last weekend marked the first USGP in 11 years. That’s longer than most racing careers last (hopefully there will be a much shorter break to the next US round of the World Championship). Although the crowd turnout could have been a little better, the event as a whole was well received, and it was great to see the bridge between Europe and the U.S. being reforged. On top of that, there was some excellent racing, and American fans had a chance to finally see Antonio Cairoli in action for two entire motos on Sunday, a preview of what Marvin Musquin is capable before he comes to the States full time next year, Ben Townley show that he is still a force to be reckoned with, and some of the most trick equipment you could ever see on a motocross track. The Nationals start back up this coming weekend at Freestone, but here is a look back at some of the action from the World Motocross Championship United States Grand Prix at Glen Helen Raceway.
