Practice at Millville—round seven of the Lucas Oils AMA Motocross Championships—has concluded, and as many had expected, Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey topped the lap charts in the 450 Class with a time of 2:04.584. Behind him was JGR/Yamaha’s Josh Grant with a time of 2:04.628, while Honda Red Bull Racing’s Andrew Short turned in the third best time with a 2:05.480. Fourth went to Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Chad Reed with a time of 2:05.480.
As for the 250 Class, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Christophe Pourcel was fastest with a time of 2:04.669. Second went to Geico Powersports/Honda’s Trey Canard with a time of 2:05.633, while third was Pourcel’s teammate Dean Wilson with a time of 2:06.919.
