Like we said, the Unadilla fans treat everyone under a team tent like a star. The guys on the right were so intrigued by Mike Alessi’s machinery and what his mechanic, Kelly Lumgair was doing, that it was almost distracting. There were so many questions flying towards Kelly that he could barely answer one before another was coming his way. You’ve got to love enthusiasm.

Jimmy Decotis had his best showing so far this season. The privateer from nearby Massachusetts had a big following in NY, and in the first moto was able to run as high as fifth before eventually fading back to 11th.
