Practice for round 10 of the Lucas Oils AMA Motocross Championship at MX 338 in Southwick, Massachusetts, wrapped up today. The track is fast, but just like every year, it is breaking into be a very rough course. In the 450 class, Troy Lee Designs/Honda’s Ben Townley posted the quickest time with a 1:56.149. Second went to Motoconcepts/Yamaha’s Kyle Chisholm with a 1:56.379 lap time, with third going to privateer Jeremy Medaglia with a time of 1:56.761. Points leader Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey finished fourth with a time of 1:56.818.
In the 250 class, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki swept the top-three qualifying positions with Christophe Pourcel first with a time of 1:57.564, Tyla Rattray second with a time of 1:57.889, and Dean Wilson with a time of 1:59.114.
