Matrix provided these cool red, white, and blue work mats for Team USA. Both Canard and Dungey were using these mats in their respective pit areas.

Here’s a look at Dean Farris’ custom Australia helmets and neck brace. He was riding a Geico Powersports/Honda for the weekend and pitted out of the same rig as Canard and Brett Metcalfe.

In spite of the troubles that Trey Canard had in the first MX2 moto where he tangled with Zach Osborne off the start, he still managed to charge to the front of the pack in moto one and finished third in moto two for a good overall showing in the MX2 class.

Like always, Team USA had a huge fan following. This photo was taken before racing got underway, but needless to say, being that the race was on U.S. soil, the crowd never really died down all day long. It’s also worth noting that the team had the biggest pit area of all the teams, with the Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki semi for Dungey, the Red Bull Racing/Honda semi for Short, and the Geico Powersports/Honda rig for Canard and part of Team Australia.
