With this year’s Day in the Dirt race rapidly approaching this coming weekend, bike prep here at TWMX has hit overdrive as everyone is gathering parts and trying to get their bikes dialed in for the weekend’s festivities. Last year, my dad Bill Lutes restored his 1972 Penton 125cc and this year—so I could race the Vintage class with him—he restored his 1972 CZ250 four-speed. Both bikes are so beautifully prepped I couldn’t help but show them off before they get dirty this weekend.
