Speaking of NYK, he had a pretty good night at Indy. He has been dealing with sickness for the last few weeks and hasn’t felt 100%. He put in a good ride, though, on Saturday, and finished eighth in the main event, which is his best finish of the season.

Dean Wilson took an untimely dirt sample early in the main event, forbidding him a chance for a podium finish. He ended the night in sixth place. We hope Deano can bounce back this weekend in Jacksonville and battle up front once again.

Blake Baggett went down in the same spot as Wilson while fending off pressure from Ryan Sipes. Baggett was leading the race, but Sipes took control and never looked back.

Justin Barcia put in a great effort to catch Sipes, but Sipes was able to hold him off for the win. After the checkers, Barcia congratulated the Sipes on his first win.

Nico Izzi has shown some great speed this season, but he has crashed at nearly every round, whether it’s in practice, or heats, or the main. He suffered another get-off this weekend in the main, and had to log a 16th for the night.
