Last week, we tagged along on one of the Metal Mulisha’s shoots for their upcoming film Black Friday. The Mulisha has been in production of their film since late last year, and with a schedule release date for this coming November, their scrambling to get in as much shooting as possible before the deadline. And with everything loaded up, Larry Linkogle, Julian Dusseau, Derek Garland, Wes Agee, Todd Potter, Jimmy Fitzpatrick, and some of their closest friends headed up to Danimal’s ranch just outside of Santa Barbara, California.
Most of the riders and crew drove up to Danimal’s, but early in the morning on the first day of filming, we flew up in the helicopter with Jeff “Ox” Kargola and Ryan Hagy, and after making a brief stop in Santa Barbara for some fuel, we landed at Danimal’s and the shoot began.
Danimal’s has been featured in numerous videos—mostly the On The Pipe series—but no one has ever done what we witnessed on this trip. Both Wes Agee and Todd Potter managed to backflip almost every jump the crew filmed on and even pulled off an unofficial world record back flip off a 180-foot natural double. But for everything that went down on the trip, check out the photo gallery below.
