VET WORLD CUP MOTO 1
When the gates dropped for the first moto of the Vet World Cup, it was Doug Dubach with a massive holeshot. In the next turn, though, Ryan Hunt quickly passed him. By the time the riders hit Yamaha Hill, the top four riders started to pull away from the field of riders. After one lap, Dubach took control of the lead by three seconds while Mats Nilsson and Darryll King battled for the number two spot. King quickly made some work on Nilsson, and he moved into second place.
Five laps into the first moto, lapped traffic allowed King to close the margin that Dubach had acquired during the first few laps. Just like that, King had brought the race within three seconds with Dubach. Two corners before the final lap board came out, King had a bobble which allowed The Doctor to gain a couple seconds on him. In the end, it was Dubach who took the win in Moto 1 followed by King and Nilsson.
