MX Sports Pro Racing and Alli, the Alliance of Action Sports, present the Rockstar Energy Budds Creek Highlight Video from Saturday’s MotoTees Budds Creek National. The fourth round of the 2011 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship from Budds Creek MX Park featured tremendous battles for the win in both the 450 and 250 classes, and thousands of fans throughout the region were on hand to watch it all unfold.
With his winning streak snapped one week prior, TwoTwo Motorsports/Bel-Ray Racing’s Chad Reed was determined to reclaim his spot atop the overall podium. After a strong start to the day with a third-place finish in Moto 1, Reed fended off the challenges of Rockstar/Makita Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey throughout Moto 2 to secure a tie-breaker for the overall win over Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto. Currently, Reed has won all four second motos this season.
In the 250 Class, the dominance by Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki continued. South African Tyla Rattray relied on a strong first moto performance, and an impressive win in Moto 2, to overtake his teammate Dean Wilson for the overall victory. It marked Rattray’s second overall victory of the year, and he remains the only rider in the class to finish on the podium at every round this season.
