WMX
MOTO 1
The first moto of WMX racing saw Honda’s Ashley Fiolek jump off the gate to take the holeshot and early lead ahead of DNA Shred Stix/Star Racing/Yamaha’s Jessica Patterson and Troy Lee Designs/Honda’s Tarah Gieger. As the laps clicked away, Patterson began to pressure Fiolek for the lead, and within a few laps, had made her way past Fiolek and into the lead. From there, she never looked back, taking a decisive win ahead of points leader Fiolek. Kawasaki-mounted Vicki Golden finished third with another Kawasaki rider Sara Price in fourth. Gieger finished fifth after going down late in the race.

MOTO 2
The second moto was almost a carbon copy of the first, as Fiolek took the holeshot and initial lead before being passed by Patterson. Once around Fiolek, Patterson opened up a big lead and never relinquished it. Behind them, Gieger held down a comfortable third. When the checkered flag flew, Patterson took the win followed by Fiolek and Gieger.
