The reigning 450 Class Champion outlasted Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto in the final moto to post 2-1 results on the day, and overtake his rival based on the Moto 2 tiebreaker.
In the 250 Class, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Blake Baggett helped extend the dominance that has been displayed this season by Mitch Payton’s team. Additionally, Baggett’s sweep of the day’s motos garnered him his third overall win in five rounds of racing, bringing him closer to the battle for the 250 Class title.
In the return of the WMX Class, Jessica Patterson bounced back from a rough outing at the previous stop of the Motorcycle-Superstore.com Women’s Motocross Championship. The defending WMX Champion dominated both of the day’s motos to land her second victory in three rounds.
