WMX Moto 1
Factory Honda superstar Ashley Fiolek lead wire to wire in the first ever WMA race at Red Bud over DNA Shred Stix’s Jessica Patterson and Troy Lee Honda ‘s Tarah Gieger. Only a handful of riders were able to complete the uphill double that seemed to be pivotal in cutting lap times. The list included Fiolek, Patterson, Geiger, and Vicki Golden.
WMX Moto 2
Once again, Ashley Fiolek was the first to the line with Patterson in tow, which allowed the second moto to be much closer than the first. Patterson looked poised to make a pass for the lead on multiple occasions, but lappers would spoil her chances. The gray skies overhead looked like they could have opened at any moment, but held off for the fifteen minutes that concluded the day at Red Bud.
