Monday Kickstart – Red Bud National

The crowd at Red Bud is second to none. The enthusiasm and dedication, especially at the podium, is like no other in motorsports.

Mechanics had their hands full this weekend. Red Bud always serves up a dynamic track, but the rain and heat made the bike maintenance that much more tedious.

The holeshot in the first 450 moto couldn’t have been any closer. Davi Millsaps and Jake Weimer battled it out around the first and second turns, but Millsaps found the front first and lead for quite a few laps before Reed chased him down.

Geico Honda replacement rider Lance Vincent retained his ride for the weekend even though Wil Hahn returned to racing.

Cheer up guys. You just swept the podium, and your team is dominating the points chase.
