MX Sports Pro Racing and Alli, the Alliance of Action Sports, present the Rockstar Energy RedBud Highlight Video from Saturday’s Rockstar Energy RedBud National. The sixth round of the 2011 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship from RedBud marked the halfway point of the season, and a massive crowd cheered on the world’s best riders over the course of six motos throughout the day.
With three wins to his credit already this season, TwoTwo Motorsports/Bel-Ray Racing’s Chad Reed added another victory to his impressive 2011 résumé. After fending off Rockstar/Makita Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey for the first moto win, Reed secured a third-place effort in Moto 2 to grab his fourth overall in six races and extend his points lead.
In the 250 Class, the undefeated dominance of Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki continued as Blake Baggett captured his second straight victory with a sweep of the day’s motos. Like his 450 Class counterpart Reed, the win marked Baggett’s fourth in six rounds.
In the WMX Class, American Honda’s Ashley Fiolek put forth her most impressive performance of the season, going 1-1 on the day to garner her second win of the season. Additionally, Fiolek increased her advantage in the championship standings.
