Chad Reed brought the red plate to Spring Creek with a decent margin. After his spectacular crash he was able to remount and charge his way forward and maintain the lead, although with a much smaller margin over the Ryans, who are neck and neck for second in points.

Malcolm Stewart came to Spring Creek trying to put together consistent finishes for the season. He was unable to break into the top 10 and ended up finishing 15th overall.

Dean Willson also maintained the red plate in the 250 class. He and Tyla Rattray have been battling in the previous weeks, and despite not getting that elusive overall win, Wilson has kept a good point lead over his teammate.

The morning practices were very soft and muddy and clutches were a very commonly serviced item in the pits before the gates dropped for the races.

Ryan Dungey is an obvious choice of fan favorites being from the area. The cheering for Dungey during the racing was very noticable through the noise.
