Moto One
Factory Honda pilot Ashley Fiolek pulled another massive holeshot to start the first Women’s moto of the day, but her competition for the title, Jessica Patterson, would take over the lead by the end of the opening lap. While Patterson would have a few mistakes that nearly handed the lead to Fiolek, she was able to recover and go on to take the moto win, cutting the point lead down to twenty as they headed into the final race of the season.

Moto Two
Troy Lee Honda rider Tarah Geiger was vocal all week on her desire to win a moto before the season concluded, and when she grabbed the holeshot and early lead in the final race of the year it seemed like part of a master plan. Geiger searched the track for the smoother lines, avoiding the chop and ruts that others plowed through. She dove inside and out in a bid to outrun and block Jessica Patterson, the two narrowly avoiding contact just before the finish line section. As they rallied to the far side of the track, Patterson was able to make a move and was again in the lead, turning laps that would have placed in the men’s 250 class.
After a brief battle with Vicki Golden, Ashley Fiolek moved into third place, a position that was more than safe enough for the previous two time champion to claim her third title.
