First Impression: 2012 Yamaha Four-Strokes

For 2012, the Yamaha YZ250F received numerous updates to the motor, chassis, and the overall look of the bike. For the motor, Yamaha produced a lighter piston along with the piston rings, and updated the carburetor. What all of this means is the small four-stroke now has a better mid-range to top-end power. Just like the motor, the chassis also saw some refinements for 2012. The new design has a better overall rigidity, and translates into a better feel when handling high-speed straights and cornering.
