Inside Chad Reed’s TwoTwo Motorsports/Honda CRF450R

In case you didn’t already know, Chad Reed just inked a deal that will see him aboard Factory Honda’s for the next two years. Reed began the 2011 season aboard a full-on privateer Honda, but following the Supercross series, Honda stepped up their support of Reed’s team, giving him a full-factory CRF450R for the remainder of the season. Before the Motocross of Nations this year, we were able to get a closer look at the 22 machine, and with Reed finalizing his Honda deal for 2012, it’s safe to say that this bike is a pretty close representation of his equipment next year—apart from different graphics and some updates that he will likely make following off-season testing.

As a side note, we featured Chad’s privateer bike back when the 2011 Supercross season first got underway. If anything, it’s interesting to take a look at and compare the equipment he started the year on to the factory bike he eventually finished the year aboard.
