Favorite Video – The Bat
This video barely made it into the 2011 list, but I think it’s one of the greatest videos. It doesn’t have huge whips, flips, or top motocross pros ripping it up around a track, but what it does have is an inspirational message. Matt Wadsworth has been blind since birth, and he is attempting to jump 100 feet with the aid of his motocross coach, Micky Dymond. Essentially, Wadsworth is blind as a bat, and he relies on the sounds of his bike and the voice of Dymond to guide him in the right direction. Some might consider this attempt crazy, but “The Bat” proves that anything is possible when you set your mind to it.
