Favorite Video – Shadow: Nick Wey at Washougal

Donn’s Shadow of Nick Wey at Washougal is a perfect glimpse at one of the most well liked, low-key racers in our sport. While many may think that his lighthearted demeanor is just face that he throws on for the camera, this shows that Nick is like that with everyone he comes in contact with. It’s funny to see someone be as finicky with their look as he is, down to the GoPro camera, because I thought that was something that only I did. Even though he was visibly upset by his results from the day, the fact that he mentioned Trey Canard shows that he knows there are more important things in life than winning.
