To set up a motorcycle for freestyle requires a mix of standard, Supercross, and even off-road settings. The extremely stiff suspension and wheels of Supercross soak up the jarring landings and the stabilizers strong and quick to steady the bike, while the high bar bends and chopped panels are unique only to FMX. Many riders will spend their entire careers on one brand of machine and will buy an entire inventory of the model if radical changes come with the new model year.
For Jeremy Stenberg, 2012 is a year of massive change. He has left the sponsors who did not agree with his planned schedule, and instead focused on riding under his own terms. After separating with Kawasaki, Stenberg purchased two Honda 450s at sticker price from a local dealership, and with the help of assorted sponsors and mechanic Eric Mazzetti, created some of the cleanest looking bikes in freestyle.
