In the first 450 class moto, Grant fell in line in the top-15 after the hole shot and would ride to a solid top-10 finish bringing home ninth while his teammate Chisholm had to battle hard from the 20th spot in the closing laps to ride to a respectable 13th after nearly crashing after being run off the course when trying to make a pass on Justin Brayton.
In the second 450 class moto of the day, both Grant and Chisholm fell in line in the top-10 after the holeshot where they would remain for
the remainder of the moto to finish eighth and ninth respectively. Grant’s pair of ninth and eighth place finishes puts him ninth overall in the
championship standings with 25 points. Chisholm’s pair of 13th and ninth place finishes puts him 11th overall with 20 points. Up next for the DNA Energy Drink / Jeff Ward Racing team is Round 2 at Freestone Raceway in Wortham, Texas on May 26.
