How long have you been riding?
I’ve been riding like 10 years now.

How did you get started?
I actually started out racing bicycles before I started racing motocross.  I started out doing that when I was 4 and was pretty successful at that.  When I was 9 I switched over to motocross.

What success did you have in BMX?
I won a state championship and I won 2 or 3 national championships.  It wasn’t great but it was good.

Moving on to motocross, how have you done so far?
I got a title last year in Ponca City in the 250 Open class and some podiums.  I got a couple medals at Loretta’s last year.  Unfortunately I got hurt so I didn’t get an overall.  I got a couple championships up at the Dodge National in the 250 Intermediate classes and several podiums at most of the nationals.  I’ve been a regular top 3 guy.

What are you plans for the rest of the year?
Right now I am riding and training and we are getting ready for the Loretta’s qualifiers to get ready for the big race of the year.  We will go do Mammoth, Ponca and Loretta’s will be the last 3 big races for the year.  Right now we are looking for some help and hoping my training, hard work and dedication will pay off and get a ride to do the last 3 outdoor nationals.  I’d like to do that, and if not next year for sure I want to do supercross and motocross if all goes as planned if I can get some help.  If I keep putting in the hard work and getting results I think I should be able to.

If you don’t get any sponsors for the last 3 outdoor nationals, will you ride them anyway to get some exposure?
I don’t know yet, it is all still up in the air and we are taking it race by race.  I don’t know if I will make the ones back east since I am from Arizona, but Elsinore is pretty close and it is a good possibility.
