The San Diego main event battle between Ryan Villopoto and Chad Reed is one of the highlights of the year. The two exchanged the lead numerous times over the course of 20 laps, with Villopoto taking the win. The two went at it again the next week in Dallas, but Reed's season ended after a crash in the main event riddled him with injuries, including a tear to his ACL.
