250 Class
Moto One
Wil Hahn took first moto holeshot of the 250 class aboard his GEICO Powersports Honda, but his teammate, Justin Barcia, was not far behind. Within moments, Barcia stole the lead from Hahn, but the two riders stayed close to one another with Eleven10 Mods privateer Alex Martin in third. Eli Tomac would inch into third after Martin encountered issues, and the three teammates paced the track as Monster Energy Pro Circuit’s Blake Baggett and Red Bull KTM’s Ken Roczen diced for fourth place. Once Baggett made the move for the position stick, he clicked off the fastest lap times of the moto and reeled in the slowing Hahn, who had dropped to third. With the help of multiple lappers, Tomac and Baggett closed the gap Barcia had created, but it was not enough to challenge for the lead.

Moto Two
Ken Roczen claimed the holeshot in the final moto of the day, with nemesis Justin Barcia locked into second place. With Blake Baggett attempting to overtake Barcia, the KTM rider was able to distance himself from the rest of the field. Barcia and Baggett would have fast company in Eli Tomac, who had overcome a start that shuffled him into the middle of the pack. Baggett broke away from Barcia just before the teammates locked into a duel that lasted multiple laps. However, a front-end washout ended his time in second, and both Barcia and Tomac went by. The lengthy duel between both Lites Supercross champions finally ended once Tomac got around Barcia for second place, and with only moments left, he went after Roczen. His press for the lead was assisted by lapped traffic and a small crash by Roczen, a pivotal moment that set the final two laps. At the beginning of the final lap, Roczen was unable to huck the uphill triple due to a lapper, lessening the gap even more. Tomac set Roczen up for a pass in the same section he got around Barcia in, scrubbed to the inside of the KTM racer over a single, and tore off with the lead, moto win, and overall victory.
