We All Ride High Point National Recap

Round Four of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Outdoor Championship went down this weekend with 20,000 fans on hand, team rider #800 Mike Alessi did not disappoint. Alessi topped the field in the practice and set the bar high with a 2:10.949 lap time.

Mike Alessi #800 takes the lead early with his signature hole shot in Moto 1, then makes a small mistake that opened the door for Ryan Dungey to make a clean pass. However, in Moto 2 Dungey grabbed the holeshot. Alessi then presses on and passes Dungey, pulling away and stays ahead for about half the race. Unfortunately, Dungey was able to find better lines, more speed out of the track, and closed the gap between himself and Alessi. Alessi was still able to hold on to 2nd for Moto 2, thus confirming his spot on the Podium next to Ryan Dungey.

Vince Friese #59 went 16th in Moto 1 and 14th in Moto 2, for a 14th finish right behind James Stewart who finished 13th. Jake Canada #57 went 9th in Moto 1 and 34th in Moto 2 for an overall finish of 15th.

Solid weekend for all of our riders and we can’t wait for Budds Creek next Saturday.
