In light of recent events, the third round of the Muscle Milk TWMX Race Series Summer Cup will now take place at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park on Sunday, July 29th. This will be a first for the TransWorld run race series, as it has yet to visit the newly opened facility in either the Winter or Spring Cup championships. Racing will take place on the National track, which will be used later this year as the final round of the AMA Outdoor Motocross Championship.
To celebrate the inclusion of the National caliber track, the stakes have been raised in the Open Pro class. The best racers in Southern California will compete over the course of two 20-minute motos for a 200% payback, a healthy sum of money for a day’s work. In addition to the increased purse, a $100 holeshot award will be up for grabs in both Open Pro motos. Payout will remain the same for both the 250 and 450 Pro divisions, but will offer more time on the track under race conditions to prepare for the National finale.
Online entry for round three of the Muscle Milk TWMX Race Series at Lake Elsinore is now open at twmxrs.com. Online entrants are automatically entered to win a prize courtesy of BTO Sports. This, in addition to payment via PayPal and increased odds at a better first moto gate selection make signing up on the web a viable option. Early entry closes on Friday, July 27th, at midnight.
