WMX
The women of professional racing returned to the track this weekend at Washougal, including Jessica Patterson with her freshly bolted and screwed hand. The two other stars of the WMX, Ashley Fiolek and Tarah Gieger, were also there to keep JP$ honest.

With a freshly bolted up hand, Jessica Patterson returned to the racetrack to fight for yet another title.
In the first moto, we saw Fiolek blast out of the gate first with her Honda Muscle Milk CRF250R, much like she does at most races she lines up for. Patterson, weak hand and all, settled into second place and put in a strong moto while Gieger and her Lucas Oil/Troy Lee Designs Honda finished comfortably in third.
The second moto was quite reminiscent of the first as Fiolek, again, got out to an early start. Patterson fought her way past the Honda rider, but some bad luck forced Patterson to return the lead to Fiolek. JP$ fell back into the pack and, in turn, Gieger assumed Patterson’s former position in second.

Lucas Oil/Troy Lee Designs/Honda's Tarah Gieger is the most consistent women in racing, and it may just be what it takes to win the championship in the end.
