Don’t let the “Beginner Class” title fool you; they are some of the most competitive groups on the gate at each Muscle Milk TWMX Race Series round. Logan Ostrander caught our attention with his high pitched two-strokes at round two of the Summer Cup at Racetown, so we grabbed a few minutes with the Oceanside racer.

Name: Logan Ostrander
Hometown: Oceanside
Age:14
What class are you racing at the Muscle Milk TWMX Summer Series?
I’m racing the 250 Beginner and 450 Beginner classes.
How long have you been riding?
I’ve been riding since I was seven.
What’s your favorite track?
I would have to say Cahuilla!
It’s your first time at Racetown, what do you think of it?
The jumps are really fun. It’s a little windy out here today but, it’s good.
What are your plans for the rest of the year?
I’m hoping to move up to the novice class by the end of the year.
What made you choose the two-stroke?
It’s a lot of fun to ride! I feel you have to ride it harder to keep up against the four-strokes. So, I think it’ll help with my riding skills.
Any sponsors you would like to thank?
DJP Racing, One Industries, Sunline, Tag Metals, Autism MX, Works Connection, Gaerne and Spy.
