As the Nationals take a two-weekend break, it’s time for everyone to take a step back before the stretch that will place pressure on racers and their teams. To help wind down, a handful of riders hit the 14th annual Surfercross. The two-day event took place on Thursday at Lucas Oil MX Park in Perris, CA, before migrating to the coast for Friday’s portion at at Trail Six at San Onofre Beach.

Josh Grant has become a fan of the event due to his relationship with former team manager Jeremy Albrecht. J-Bone and Mike Parsons are the creators and organizers of the Surfercross concept.
