
After years of wrenching for many of the sport’s top racers, including Travis Pastrana, Lee McCollum has earned the right to a few hub stickers.

With only Andrew Short on the roster, the L&Mc pit area often appears empty. Though no one has been confirmed, there is slated to be a second rider joining Short in 2013.

Something that we noticed this weekend is the use of the Alpinestars Tech-8 boot. Considered the “standard” for years, its status fell off with the release of the Tech-10, but riders such as Tyla Rattray keep the classic in use.

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s carbon fiber fork guards do not cover the bottom of the triple clamps the way that Yoshimura Suzuki’s do, but still protect the more important and expensive area.
