The latest round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship was held in beautiful Pennsylvania at Steel City Raceway. SCOTT athletes were greeted with mixed weather conditions that would eventually bring rain late in the day. Luckily the rain didn’t last long and the racing action proved to be fast and exciting.
In the 450 class the top SCOTT athlete was Tyla Rattray who finished in the top five with a 5th overall. Tyla had clear vision all day thanks to his SCOTT Hustle goggles.
Next up was SCOTT goggle athlete Phil Nicoletti who rode consistently all day and ended up with a top 10 finish in 8th overall. His SCOTT Hustle goggles kept the second Moto rain at bay to ensure a clear ride to the finish.
Just behind Nicoletti was SCOTT goggle athlete Andrew Short. Wearing his SCOTT Hustle goggles, Short had a great first Moto and finished just behind the leader in 2nd place. In the second Moto Short had some unfortunate issues that would keep him the back of the pack in 32nd. Luckily due to his first Moto score Short ended up with a 9th overall.
Monster Kawasaki’s Broc Tickle had a rough first Moto and was only able to finish in 32nd. In the second Moto the SCOTT Tyrant goggle wearing athlete would rebound with a hard fought 5th place to redeem his weekend and put him in 12 overall for the day.
The racing action in the 250 class was exciting and extremely competitive. Series point’s leader and SCOTT goggle athlete Blake Baggett rode smart and finished with a solid 4th overall.
