Scott Adkins paid close attention to detail for Jeremy Martin’s Star/Valli/Rockstar/Yamaha ride at Elsinore by polishing the frame and swingarm of the YZ250F. Adkins said that with numerous sponsors at the event, everything about his bike needed to be perfect. Total build time came in at nearly 20 hours.
The Hinson clutch cover of Justin Barcia’s MX of Nations Honda CRF has been engraved with the Team USA logo. Contrary to tradition, the three riders competing for the States in Lommel at the end of the month did not race the second motos in their patriotic gear.
Austin Politelli is a monster when it comes to racing at LE. The California privateer claimed the lion’s share of the purse at our Muscle Milk TWMX Race Series round earlier this summer, then ran as high as fifth in the first moto during the National before a mechanical issue forced him to DNF. Politelli rebounded for a 17th in the second moto.
