Tsunami Superlight Oversized Brake Kits Now Available from Galfer USA
- Galfer USA has redesigned their popular Tsunami Wave rotor to reduce the rotor’s weight, while providing the same excellent braking characteristics.
- Each Tsunami Superlight Oversized Brake Kit includes one 270mm Tsunami Superlight Wave rotor, a caliper relocation bracket to ensure proper rotor placement, and a set of Galfer’s advanced ceramic brake pads.
- Tsunami Superlight Oversized Brake Kits are available for Kawasaki, Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha and KTM applications.
Oxnard, Calif. – September 20, 2012 – Galfer USA’s original 270mm Tsunami Wave rotors offered some of the greatest performance available in their original configuration, but Galfer’s engineers have redesigned the system to reduce the overall weight while maintaining superior braking performance.
The new Tsunami Superlight Oversized Rotor utilizes the same two-piece floating design as the original rotor, but replaces the stainless steel carrier of the original with a lightweight 6061-TK aluminum carrier. The new Superlight design means that you can enjoy the improved braking performance an oversized rotor provides without having to put up with the additional rotational weight commonly associated with oversized rotors.
Each kit includes one Tsunami Superlight Oversized Brake Rotor, a caliper relocation bracket to ensure proper rotor placement, and a set of Galfer’s advanced ceramic brake pads for a complete braking solution. Detailed installation instructions and all necessary hardware are also included with each kit for simple installation.
