The Muscle Milk TWMX Race Series Fall Cup kicked off at Competitive Edge MX, with over 400 entries hitting the track at Comp Edge in Hesperia, CA. With the fall riding season underway, the series promises to be very competitive in every class. Some of the previously profiled riders returned to the races, such as Ray Obermeyer, who is returning from his summer excursion to the Canadian Nationals. When Obermeyer was profiled, he was finishing up his intermediate ranking and was set to embark on his travels north of the border to get his feet wet in the pro class. Also returning to the TWMX Race Series was Adam Cianciarulo on a 250. Cianciarulo put on a show of strength throughout the day, however, he was back in the pack on the start of his opening race of the day in the Intermediate 250F class and had to work his way into the lead. He followed up the second moto with a start in the front of the pack and was able to win with ease.
The series returns to action on October 7 at Pala Raceway and culminates in December with the giveaway of the new Yamaha YZF450 at the final round at Glen Helen Raceway.
