Chad Reed has been getting acquainted with the all-new 2013 Honda CRF450R back home in Florida. We got to check it out while we were at Compound 22 filming for Kickstart 4: The Final Chapter.
TwoTwo Motorsports’ Chad Reed has been busy getting back into the swing of things after spending a few months on the sidelines due to injuries. In addition to getting back up to speed, he’s also been getting used to the all-new 2013 Honda CRF450R. “I love the bike,” said Reed. “My initial impressions of it weren’t 100% positive, but that was because I didn’t get to start with a stock bike and see what every modification and works part did to the performance of the bike. Because of time constraints and a lack of bikes, the first bike I got to ride was set up for guys like Jeremy McGrath and Justin Barcia. I obviously prefer a much different setup, as I grew to love the bike more and more as I set it up for me.”
