Some of the best days of riding we ever had were at our earliest moments. No matter if you started out as a young grom on a mini or much later in life, those first “breakthroughs” on a bike are the ones that shape a person’s riding career. If you are in Southern California this Saturday and know a child, relative, friend, or even yourself with a desire to ride but have no bike or gear, stop in at the TransWorld SLAM and learn the basics. TransWorld Motocross and MotoVentures will take over the mini track at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park and convert it into a “Kids’ Learn-To-Ride” training area, complete with bikes, gear, and qualified instructors.
MotoVentures will outfit those interested with the appropriate safety gear and will put them on the bike best suited for their needs. After going over the basics of control, riders will be put on the mini track for their first laps, and will then learn more about braking, turning, and the fitness needed to ride motocross. The Learn-To-Ride area will be open from 8AM to 3PM and like the rest of the TransWorld SLAM Festival, is free of charge.

The 2012 TransWorld SLAM Festival will take place Saturday, October 13th, at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park. With sponsors Rockstar Energy Drink, Pro Circuit, Farmer John, Unit, New Era, Arnette, and Magnaflow, the 2012 installment will be the largest yet.
