
With the day’s riding complete, everyone crowded around for some Farmer John sausages and cold bevys.

We gave our November cover star, Megan Belet, 300 posters to sign and give away at Saturday’s SLAM. Within a short time, they were gone and she was on her way to a Formula Drift race.

Yamaha and Motoventures took over Lake Elsinore’s mini track and taught the next generation the basics of riding. With bikes and gear provided, there was a steady flow of new riders going in and out of the track.

Fans were treated to two freestyle demos at the Rockstar Energy Metal Mulisha compound, courtesy of Robby Bell, Jimmy Fitzpatrick, and Derek Garland. What would a moto event be without FMX?

Answer Racing showed up with cases of blank white t’s, a few cans of spray paint, and cardboard stencils for fans to create their own “ANSR” shirts. Best believe we made our own…
